20M, previously well.

Walking home in the evening with friends.  They were caught in thunderstorm.

Friends report that he collapsed on the street and was unconscious.

Brought to witchdoctors / traditional healers.  Raw egg put into his mouth.  He vomited but did not regain consciousness.  Water applied to his lips and the healer blew air into his mouth.  But still remained obtunded.  Therefore taken to hospital.

In hospital he was given IV fluids and gradually recovered consciousness.  He was feeling weak but no headache or physical injuries.  He remembers only the thunderstorm, seeing a bright light, and then waking up in the hospital.
