The UBC Tropical and Travel Acquired Diseases Clinic is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of illness in returned travelers, immigrants and refugees as well as parasitic infections in those who have not traveled.
The clinic is located in Vancouver General Hospital and there is a clinic in Surrey Memorial Hospital.
The clinic is supported by the Parasitology Laboratory and the Zoonotic and Emerging Pathogens Program at the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC).
Please note, for the Tropical and Travel Acquired Diseases Clinic, patients must have a referral from a physician (family doctor or specialist).
